Hi all
I’m on day 17 of incubating silkie eggs
so far I have had to practice a dry hatch method (due to first time and borrowed roll x incubator which didn’t have the water attachment and when I poured water into it it just came straight back out of the hole )

the eggs look to be doing well when I candle them. All are fertilised and alive there are 13 eggs.

when should I turn the turned off and there are rolling bars. Do I need to remove these. What should I do now?
The humidity has been 20% everyday and the eggs don’t seem to have lost too much water.

thanks

On day 18 you want to stop turning them so take the automatic turner off lay them flat and put the humidity between 65 and 70.

If you have a wire bottom I'd put something under there so they're little feet don't get stuck. I used that soft mesh I forgot what it's called you put it in your cabinet to keep it clean when you put your cups and dishes in I cut it to length. If you don't have one put one thin layer of paper towels. Not too thick because you want the humidity to go through I hope that helps a little bit

This is what the incubator is like but it’s missing the water part. How should I add humidity
