Day 18 photos, positions and lockdown

Here is how I am doing my lockdown. Day 18. I have turned off my turner, and now getting ready to lay my eggs flat for hatching. I put down some heavy twine to keep eggs from rolling/getting knocked around as they hatch. I candle before setting. I look for this slope below. This egg will most likely hatch on time day 21.

Since the chick will hatch from the lower part of the slope, I mark it and lay the egg like this...

If I have any eggs that candle like this on day 18 below...

no slope, they will still hatch maybe a bit later than day 21, or on day 21 still. but they have a bit more fluid. I want my eggs like this to hatch upright so if they pip, they don't drown. I am going to let these hatch up right in resting cups.

I said to mark where the slope is located and at lockdown set in the above position.
