Day 18 temp and humidity problem

This morning at 7:30 I added water as we are on day 18. Apparently, I added to much because the temp went down to 84% and humidity up to 88. I noticed this at 9:15. I have added water before and did not have such a huge change so I am not sure why the big shift. I have taken water out but at 9:44 the temp is 88.7 and the humidity is 88. I'm worried that I have killed the chicks with this temp shift. I don't want to open the incubator again but have turned to thermostat up. Any advice? Otherwise our temp was ok.

Don't know why you had the big swing, but I doubt you hurt the chicks. By day 18 they are producing heat themselves & can survive lower temperatures than 88.
Hopefully your heat came back up, but I'd watch that it didn't go to high
