In reference to my other post on humidity what percent should I try to stabilize at for the last three dsys?

There are a few different opinions on this. I can only tell you from my personal experience that 60-65% works well for me. When your chicks hatch, the humidity - from their wet little bodies - will skyrocket.
I dont use the trays to increase my humidity (Small Hovabator 1588), I use small sponges. These tend to be easier to throw in, snatch out, and refill without lifting the top and losing my humidity. Although, the best thing would be to not have to open it at all, my climate is pretty dry, so I have to continue to make adjustments for the first day or so of lockdown.

I would try to get it from 65% to 70%. That's what I use when I hatch chicks, with good results.
