HI,
Hope you are not opening the incubator.
Heres the deal.........They are likely fine...............I do not hear every chick or see movement at the end.
The chicks have pretty much filled the egg and do not have much room to dance.

I have read some folks do see movement toword the end.
I rarely have a hatch that they all pop out on day 21.some have gone to 25
I am certain you are fine..............
Good Luck

Perfect timing on this thread. I have 6 Black Copper Marans eggs I ordered online. They are so dark shelled that even with a candler I can see almost nothing. I moved them out of the egg turner on day 18 (3/7/13) and added some more water to the channels in the incubator. The humidity seems to have gone waaay up as the viewing windows have a lot of condensation. Humidity is reading at about 68% right now. The temperature is holding steady at abou 99.5 though. I also had a brief spike up to about 102 overnight. I am not hearing anything and have been worried, but yesterday I listened to each one. I think I heard a tiny peck in one, but I will leave them alone from this point on. It is good to know that it is not abnormal that I am not hearing or seeing anything. I used to do this all the time about 20 years ago with chickens, ducks and geese, but have forgotten everything I knew. I am so glad there are folks on here who have done this and your responses have been very reassuring!
