Its day 19 and the eggs aren't moving and they haven't piped yet.. Is there still hope?

My bantam eggs hatch day 21, same as the large fowl. I don't know if it's the strain of bantams I have, or if it's something else, but they don't even think about pipping until late on day twenty. I would not even be concerned at this point.

Well... the last bantam eggs i incubated hatched on day 19, but hopefully your right!

Can you candle? Unless they're pipped, the humidity loss won't hurt them, and that way, you can reassure yourself.

Chicken eggs take 21 days to hatch, if you are hatching on day 19 your incubator is running too hot. Check the temps and try again. Remember, research and research some more...thats the path to success.

This is a really old thread. You aren't likely to get a response

You shouldn't be conceded about nothing happening on day 19 with bantam eggs. Them hatching earlier than large fowl is usually mythological tales

If you click on the OP of this thread's member name, you will see they haven't been on BYC since May 2019. Since that person never came back to update this thread, we will never know the results as to their hatch. Always better to ask a question on a recent thread, or better yet, create a thread of your own. Welcome to BYC; glad you joined!
