day 19 one hatched now it's day 22

6 more eggs remaining. The kids kept checking under my hen to see in any more babies had hatched. Could the eggs have gotten too cold with all the lifting her up? She never got off of them though. We candled the remaining eggs that day and they looked to be a slightly different stages of development.... Thoughts?

No the eggs should be fine, some eggs may hatch later or maybe not fertilized.

When I candled them one of the remaining 6 looked as if it weren't fetile. I marked it, bit left it anyway. 3 of the other 5 appeared to be at about day 17-18, the last 2 were much younger, but there was movement in them all. They were all layed within a day or two of eachother (all by different hens). She's been a diligent mother, and is keeping the new baby close. I really hope we get more than one baby!
