Day 19

Our first incubation here - tomorrow will be day 19. We have 95 jumbo bobwhite eggs. Am I correct that day 20 is take off the egg turner and increase humidity? Im freaking out seeing where eggs have hatched on day 19 and I dont want to mess this up. Would love to hook up a quail cam so I can check on them wherever and whenever. Its like waiting for labor day!

I don't think taking them out a day early will hurt much if you are worried.

Thankyou! Cant wait to see what our hatch rate is! Started out with 100, 1 was cracked when we got it and just removed 4 yesterday that were not developing.

You can remove them from the turner as much as 5 days early with minimal loss, so day 19 is fine. I usually lock bobs down on day 19 myself so rest assured they'll hatch.

Ok so supposedly locked down incubator today - but having one heck of a time trying to keep it at 99.5 and humidity where it needs to be - took out egg turner and temps have been anywhere from 96 to 103! Making me crazy!!
