Day 20 and got pips!

Today is day 20 and finally got pips. Two with holes completely through the shell and three you can see it cracking and raising up. So exciting! Just wish it went faster.. going crazy just watching and listening to them chirp. lol

congrats! sounds exciting!
so, how does it all work? Is "pip" when they start to crack from the shell? i thought they cracj=ked out completely all at once, do they take a while to get out of teh shell?

This is my first hatch so all I know is what I've read here. First they pip or break through the shell, then zip which is breaking more of the shell usually around the shell so it can finally break free. And they process can take a while sometimes 24 hours from what I've seen on here

Yes it can take a while - my first egg took 24 hours, while the second one that pipped just kept working until it was about in about 3 hours.
That is the longest wait of your life....
