Day 20 and weirdly alive under developed egg

Today is day 21 (highly doubt that one will be hatching anytime soon) but all the eggs are wobbling around...even the weird little one!

I had a duck egg that looked sort of like that. It was completely clear on one side, and a tiny little black blob on the end. I thought the egg was dead but left it to incubate anyways. I waited 2 days after the other duck eggs hatched to inspect it, and saw there was an internal pip! Low and behold, the little dude hatched. He was super, super tiny, but fine other wise!

So today is day 22, this morning I needed to up my humidity only way is to open it slightly and add water, so whilst I did that I thought I’d have a sneak peak at the egg under the light and she’s made an internal pip and was squeeking! Put her straight back, bounced about like a loon, couple hours later I’ve had two eggs make an external pip so obviously now no more opening until they’ve all hatched so hoping my humidity stays up! So fingers crossed for her, she’s going down the right path up to now, thought you’d be all happy to hear. Also this time when I candled her she seemed bigger whether it’s because she’s broke into the air sac I’m not sure, but obviously I was super quick so didn’t take pictures x
