Day 20 BR Hatching Eggs-No Sound or Signs of Life?

This isn't normal is it? What should we be observing and hearing by
day 20? Thanks

Same here. I don't go by their sound. I always wait for the first star shaped crack on the egg itself. Then u might here them. Be patient you gotta be. Good luck and did I tell ya be PATIENT. Jeff

Yep dont give up! I had one hatch on day 20 and then no more til day 22 and we had 6 hatch. Still waiting for the rest so dont despair they will hatch!

Wait till day 25. If they do not hatch by then, then candle them and see if you see movement. If not, they are probably dead. I would think they would be making a lot of noise, but I could be wrong.

I'm in lock down as of today. I've had my humidity spike twice. I'm worried now. *sigh* so nerve racking. I hope you have pips and peeps soon. Oh, this is my first hatch out too.

I have always wanted the humidity as high as possible. The thing i learned was opening the incubator tooo much. On this hatch, that should start in the morning they are gonna be in there a long time. One big happy family.

I never allow them to go to Day 25. That is pretty abnormal. Remember, they continue to grow in the egg so rarely do those make it out. I don't like late hatchers and usually, there is a reason they shouldn't hatch if they aren't out by the end of Day 22.

My hatchery Rocks mostly pip on Day 20 and are out by Day 21 midday. My breeder Rocks seemed to take a good bit longer, pipping late on Day 21 and continuing to hatch through Day 22. Remember, 21 days is an estimate.
