Day 20 here, we have a pip!!! Chirping!!!

Woohoo!!

We heard peeping last night, and we checked, no action...Kids said they heard peeping, so I went to check again, first egg I grabbed, nothing yet, second one, had a tiny hole in it, so we had our quick look, and put it back...

Now we wait....how long from a pip to a zip? We are just sooo excited, our first time hatching with our broody hen....

I'm with ya! First time here, too. Mine are in an incubator. I am on day 19. I started hearing chirping, maybe one or two. NOW, I have one tiny pip. I hear it can take 24 hours to go from pip to zip, some say even more sometimes.

you all are getting closer!!!! wooo hooo!!!! Mine started yesterday...and now I have 2 hatched...and 2 with legs/toes out, and 6 cracked eggs....I started with 32...this is my first time!!!!!
