I had to give away my buddy Polish Roo, but I put his legacy under my perpetually broody silkie. Today is day 20, and I have since given 2 of those eggs to another broody banty cochin. Im just DYING with anticipation to see if any of these eggs will hatch. I was able to candle one on the 4th day, and there were veins, but I haven't candled since then. The eggs are a mixture of whites, browns, a green and a banty white.
Wish us luck for Bobbleheads legacy to live on. Im so excited im about to jump out of my skin. I NEED at least one or two to hatch, otherwise, I don't know what im going to do with all these stinkin broodies. I've got another silkie that is sitting on an empty nest and I would love for 3 to hatch so each of my broodies can have a baby to raise.
