Day 20 incubator came unplugged. Eggs temp dropped for several hours!!

It was on this morning but I looked this evening and it was off? I can't hear anything are they dead???

I forgot to mention the temp was 78 degrees

I just posted that I had late eggs cold for about 36 hours, they were down to 58 degrees the temp of my basement. It is three days after hatch date but they just started today. I dont know how many will hatch, there was about 90 eggs in the tray. Don't give up on them for sure. I would bet you will do just fine if they only got to 78 degrees. I would guess if the incubator got to 78 the eggs were warmer than that. I think you will have no issues at all as a result of this.

My longest was last winter. Fridge-incubator out in the weather, winter snow storm, power was out for 24 hours. I just let it be. Most still hatched.

I would have never guessed they would survive this bad a deal, but I believe you after my cold ones.

Well out of 12 mailed! eggs and getting cold, I have 9 hatched so far at 23 days. One has intestinal issues and died. I will leave the other three and see what happens. I am so happy they mad it!

Sorry you lost the one, but that sounds like a pretty good hatch rate even if they hadn't gotten cold.
