It may not have pushed its beak through the internal membrane yet? It's a bit difficult to tell. I kept the membrane moist within an incredibly humid bathroom. Also warm coconut oil helps in very small amounts brushed on. It also helps show any of the active blood vessels. Sorry for late response. Hope all going well!Thank you so much for this! I’m now into day 21 with my blue Orpington egg which is still wobbling but there’s no breathing in the air sac - photo attached of what used to be the defined air sac line. It looks like something might be through the membrane, but it’s not a breathing beak.
How did you keep the membranes moist?
