DAY 20 OF EGGS NO SIGNS OF CHICKS

what kind of chicken is she? I have bantam cochins so 12 eggs under her would be a lot. It could be that she switched nesting boxes back and forth or maybe you got a cold snap where if she left the nest too long the eggs could have stopped developing... could be a fertility issue with your roo or it could have just been a bad batch... who knows there are so many variables to account for. How good of a sitter was she

She is a banatam cochin aswell, i did realise that 12 eggs are bit to much for her. I think the reason of this is because the first 2 weeks. Was very windy and cold and she coudn't heat all of the eggs properly. She was very good sitter at the begining but gradually around the last week she came out every day to eat and drink. This was probably the reason why.

Is there a way to make the proccess of the hatching quicker. I have heard that after day 25 the chicks could be weak. I was thinking to put a heat lamp over her so she could heat the eggs quicker,or should i not rush and let my hen do the work.
