*Day 20 Update & Pic* A pen of 13 broody hens can cover how many eggs?

Oh thank you, Patti! That was fun to see!
I had to mute it 'cause I had 2 dogs (Darby and Lily, protectors of all babies feathered or furry) climbing in my lap to find where the peeping was coming from. Poor girls are still discombobulated from the 'mysterious peeping' coming from under my shirt this morning. They knew it was a baby, but couldn't find it either.
I hope the rest pop out for you.
Give the hen a treat from me --- she did good.

Hi Danny! No, I haven't tried that. Thanks for suggesting it. It's sure worth a try.

Hi!
Oh shoot, that's just THIS weeks hatch. They haven't taken over yet, but I'll let you know after this hatch is done.
I've been setting eggs every week or 10 days since Oct '05. This is the biggest group I've set at one time --- and most certainly the biggest group of Am eggs I've ever set.
Then I set eggs again the 12th/13th, and set another bator-ful on the 21st.

Brought in 22 chicks this morning --- all Ameraucana set the evening of the 4th and 1 Serama set the morning of the 5th.
ALMOST 1/4th there!

ps:
Pics coming! I've been taking pics, but have been unable to locate the cord to load them.
If anyone has a spare (usb??) cord for a Sony DSC-P20, I'll buy it.
