Day 20! We have a pip and peeping!

I have one pip on day 20, and I **think** it's a silkie egg. The one on the bottom.

I got these as a barnyard mix. Roo is Dark Brahma and hens are possibly Australorp, Wyandotte, RIR, Marans, silkie, Brahma, EE, Barred Rock.

I am so excited to see what colors these mixes will be! Most of my hens now are BCM/Easter Egger, so they are almost all black.

Any guesses to what egg is which breed? Easter Eggers are obvious, but the brown/light ones will be a surprise.

Here are the 18 I started with. The huge ones ended up being infertile, one was an early death/blood ring and another death next to blood ring at day 7.

I have 2 cuties so far! The first one was the silkie cross, the second one was the egg in the far top left, she pipped to zipped in under an hour! I have 4 more pips, all eggs to the left of the black cord.

The silkie is the brown chipmunk. Not sure what the bottom mom was. Any guesses??
