It’s the 20th day and an egg is starting to pip. However my humidity is getting down to 54%. It’s been staying right at 62%. What do I need to do or should I just wait?

Did you try adding a little bit more water to raise the humidity back up to where you need it at?
I just cracked the top of the incubator and added some. This is my first time so I’m new to it all. I was just afraid to open it because I know it’s suppose to be on the lockdown phase where you don’t mess with it.

I'd try to raise the humidity. I don't know what your incubator looks like or how you add water but I use a couple of accordion straws cut and taped together so I can put them through a vent hole and reach the reservoir I want to reach. I insert water using a syringe that fits inside the straw. That way I don't have to open it.

In order to get access to add water, you would have to take the top off. So I did it quickly and closed it back up. I’m thinking my hygrometer isn’t reading accurately. It was at the beginning so hopefully it’s still good. Next time I’m going to put an after market hygrometer in there for back up.
