Day 20.

First hatch as you know. I think I have read through every page on this board! My son who is aged 19 is more nervous than I am. I thought I would share his music with you. He sings from morning 'til night www.myspace.com/AtlanticFront . He is the guy on the right of the pictures.

Well, I woke up in the middle of the night here, cant sleep at all, had a feeling I should check the eggs, but nothing is happening. Right now we are only into about 6 hours of Day 20 tho, so its early!

sleeeeepy and cant sleep. I know I am gonnna need my sleep, darnit!

Jill.....I hope youhave a great hatch! I remember my firstone...oh jeesh....the paceing...the stareing...the nervouseness. I am on my 3rd hatch..and still..the paceing, watching, nervousness! LOL Keep us updated!

Isnt the anticipation exilerating? Just hatched 8 new chicks on Saturday. I was out of town when it started so when I got home there was one chick. We went to bed about 10pm. When we got up at 7am on Sunday there were 7 chicks. The last one hatched 3pm on Sunday. This was all new to me. I got a hen on 07/01/07 that laid infertile eggs so I purchased 10 eggs from a wonderful woman off Ebay. I did not have a Roo and I wanted to experience Babies at least once.
Now I hope they all do not end up being Roo's. I live in a residential area and not really allowed to have chickens. My neighbors adjactent to my yard do not care if I have chickens. Once I learn how to post pictures I will.

Joy, updates please...its getting on late evening there, isnt it? Is this day 21 now for you, or still on day 20.

I dont technically reach day 21 til after 9:30 pm tonite.
