Thought I would update this thread a little bit. The chicks are about 6 months old.

I ended up with 4 pullets and a Cockerel. One of the blacks actually ended up being a “cuckoo” Orpington Bantam.

Unfortunately, a Buff pullet and the Cuckoo pullet got takes by an owl. The buff cockerel went back to where I originally got the eggs.

So, that leaves 2 Black pullets. The plan is to breed them in the spring. Lucy and Gertrude then, and now.

Also, their “mom” Buffy passed a couple weeks ago.
