Its 5 hours into day 21, I am counting correctly, I am counting day 1 24 hours after i first started incubating them.
Its day 21 and no movement, chirping or pipping has occured yet, too early to worry?
When I candled on day 18, they were all moving and alive. But they did look small for day 18, so there is a good possibility the temperature had been too low and they are a bit behind,
what do you guys think?

Yeah they can be behind several days. We always wait a week after the due date. That's if the broody is setting them, on the off chance we had the date wrong. But regardless, I would still give it a week, even if they are in a bator. Giood luck.

I'm on day 24 and in the same boat although I've given up. I was never able to catch movement when candling, although the chicks did develop. They were also small on day 18 so I have given them some extra time - as with you I had a period of low temperature I was hoping just delayed them.

I would wait until day 23 then candle again and do a float test if necessary. That's what I did but I'm still not sure of exactly how to interpret my results.

are yours not alive anymore? if they arent sorry to hear that. Does that mean mine are likely to end up the same? i hope not

I don't think they are. I don't think our situations are comparable, don't worry. I had my incubator temp fail and go down to 94F between Friday at 3pm and Monday at 7am. Just too long to overcome I think.

I'll keep you posted, so far it's day 22 and none are moving, chirping or pipping.

I have a question, I am new to incubating goose eggs, I have 4 dewlap Toulouse eggs 2 have internally pipped, I still see movement in 1 and I think 1 has quit, I would like to know how long until I see an external pip? They internally pipped sometime today while I was at work.
