Day 21, egg has been rocking for about 2 days, hatch already!

This has got to be the most suspense I have ever had to endure! This one poor egg that has dealt with my home made 'bater, temps going up and down, etc. Now it's day 21 and it has been rocking for at lease 1.5 or 2 days, and I'm starting to wonder if it will hatch. Is it normal for eggs to rock for days before hatching?

It seems to be so, for me. I've had eggs start peeping and rocking on the 18th day, and not hatch till 21st.
So I think you should be good.

Our first hatches were like that. Peeping, rocking, and then one pip after another. Goodtimes.

Yep, I had one rock when I put it down on Day 18 for lockdown and it didn't hatch for 4 days! This time, one was rocking and didn't hatch for 2 days.
