day 21-eggs starting, but stalled

I have 2 eggs hatching since last night.
No movement in the one, but definite hole all the way through and good size.

Is this normal (i.e. how long from start to finish) ?

I read some stuff and feared the worse. . .
carefully removed outer most shell and found first hatching dead.
2nd still trying so removed top half of shell using warm water, etc.
left to rest still nestled in bottom of shell.
think my humidity was wrong.

Sounds like you might have a humidity problem. Did you open the incubator after eggs pipped? Could you explain your set up to us so we can help you trouble shoot? Sorry about your loss
