DAY 21, I'M A MOMMA!

This may sound stupid, but can anyone tell me if it's ok to get the babies out of the bator yet? or will it hurt the other eggs chances of hatching? How long can the chicks stay in the incubator without harm? Should I just wait until tomorrow to give everyone a chance of hatching?

they can surive up to 24 hours with out food after they hatch

Thanks Chickie Mamma and Nicola. I'll keep my mitts of the 'bator till tomorrow then. BUT IT'S SOOOOO HARD!!!!!

How very cool for you!!! Great job! I'm on day 14 of my first hatch and hope I do as well as you have done! Keep us posted.

The good news- Looks like there will be 100% hatch!

MAJOR CUTENESS FACTOR!

The bad news- I left the water dish (for humidity) in the bator and three of the babies either drowned/ got smushed

. Everybody was in the dish when I got home.

Took the rest out and put them in the brooder. They have fluffed up quite nicely, I think.
