I don't know if it's just my bad hearing

or just the background sound of the fan in the bator but I have never heard any peeping before the pipping begins.
So, don't think nothing is going on in there.

I had the same worry on my first hatch. I thought I heard a couple of little chirps, but then convinced myself that it was just wishful thinking.
My first 2 hatched late in Day 22.
Good Luck, be patient.

Be prepared to hang in there a couple of days more. Several people have posted that their chicks are hatching a couple of days late...probably from the cold weather. Keep us posted!

I'm hanging in! Thanks for the encouragement. Only 4 of my eggs are on day 21. The other 8 are on day 19. I actually locked down on day 19 of the first set to accommodate the second. That might make a difference. I've been pretty good this morning and only sat by the bator for a little while.
