Day 21 ....... Nothing yet :(

So I started incubating 6 eggs 21 days ago at almost this exact time and nothing has hatched yet . They went into lockdown 3 days ago after their last candling and all were alive. The temp is 98.8 and humidity is 76.3 and stays pretty steady. I wouldn't normally be freaking out but this is the second time I've tried to hatch eggs from this pair and still nothing. Please help

Did you set them 21 days ago? Because you don't start counting until 24 hours after set. Are you using a forced air incubator? Have you ever checked your thermometer/hygrometer for accuracy and what was the humidity the first 17 days?

Amylynn2374 no I did not count the first 24 hours. I kept a diary through out the hatch and the first 15 days were good with an almost consistent humidity of 51.2 and temp of 98.4. On the 16th day we had a short power outage of no more then 15 min and temp dropped to 89.2 and humidity to 49.0. Once they got back up to temp I candled and all looked fine. Today was the first day I have candled since before lockdown and i did the float test because 3 of the 6 started to stink. 3 floated and 3 sank. One of the 3 that floated wiggled a little bit. And I'm using a homemade incubator.

Can you tell if they internally pipped? If you candle up by the air cell you would see a shadow in it and sometimes even a beak moving or pointed up. I think if I were you I would try to find their beak if they internally pipped and create a pip right where their beak is. Put a wet sponge in there when you start checking the eggs and wrap the egg with a damp paper towel not covering the pip. Get a wet q tip and moisten the membrane. Avoiding the beak. Some would say not to do this but I did this my last batch bc they made a crack in the shell but no progress for over 24 hrs so I helped them. I make the whole with tweezers. But don't touch the membrane under the air sell. If you do and see any blood put it back in the bator right away. This is just what I would do

IMO, unless the hatcher is in a higher elevation or the air cells say otherwise, humidity over 45% is to high. (Personally, I prefer 30%)

Do you have a fan for circulation in the bator or is it still air? The 15 minutes cool down would not effect them.

If your thermometer is accurate, 98.4 is a degree low for forced air and if you don't have the fan it should be between 101-102F (near the top of the eggs). The slightly lower temps would cause a delay in hatch, significantly lower can cause a more extreme delay with a poor (if any) hatch.
