Day 19 and nothing! Waiting on 9 silkie eggs, 2 frizzles and 13 marans. When I candled last night they were moving down some, but still not touching the air sac. Guess I need to settle in and wait for day 21. My first hatch all hatched out on day 19.

I have a set of 17 Dominique that started Monday 11pm and still getting pips now got 9 live so far. They are about a day early but dragging the hatch out, oh well!

I'm on day 19.5 today as I set my eggs at 6pm on May 23rd. I'm anxious, too. I wish the birds outside would shut up so I could hear if my babies were peeping! I even used my son's Spy Gear secret listening device and I still can't hear anything! LOL

Hahahaha That's funny! Can't hear mine either. They were all alive and well on day 18, but I thought then they looked a little behind. Guess I was right lol. I'm thinking this will be a day 21/22 hatch.

Thats funny! I never noticed how loud the wildlife is around here in my yard! Mommy hen is sitting and eggs are hatching and all I hear are all the other wild birds, crickets, and frogs!!! Shut up so I can hear my babies!!!!!! I don't have Spy gear so I guess I will wait! I know the babies are there because I saw 2 peak out!

Today is day 19 for me too. I have 8 of my own silkie eggs under a mama silkie. I am very excited. I have been candling and all have large babies in them. I leave on vacation Sunday so this is making me a nervous wreck. Come on little silkies. I hope you have a great hatch.

You may not have any pips until late in day 21. you really don't want eggs to hatch early. It means something hurried them along and they grew a bit too fast.

Hold tight. This is the hard part.

Sit on your hands and do not touch that bator!

Good luck!
