day 21 ??

Hi, today is day 21, well actually tonight, I don't see anything happening, should I open the bator and candle the eggs? I have never learned much patience, it's hard to wait....

I wouldn't. Be patient it takes a while sometimes. Good luck.

Hmm candling at this point is futile. If they are fully developed and ready to pip then you'll just see a huge air sac and darkness.

It's hard, but patience is the key to a happy hatch!

Get your mind on somthing else! Go for a walk, watch a movie.

They somtimes hatch on day 22-23-24 or even as late as 25-26,
(Usually they only hatch that late if they were at colder temps at some point during incubation)

Don't rush anything!

Hi, this is my first post on BYC.

I was wondering if your chicks hatched eventually? I am sitting next to my own incubator (just 3 eggs) one has pipped and the other two were rolling around but seem to have slowed down now - the suspense is terrible!!

Hope they hatched healthy and happy
