It may be good to take the chicks away. Some hens will do that, I am not sure why. Maybe they regretted ever hatching, I don't know. If you have any other broody who you don't think won't do that, you could try giving her the chicks. Just make sure she accepts them, because some broodies' won't accept chicks, but they will happily hatch and raise their own.
