Set chicken eggs 22 days ago. As of now, no sign of any activity. Should I let them go longer?? There is no pipping, no pecking, no movement. How do I check them without disturbing them?

You get to sit and wait. Mine are on day 23 and everyone has told me it could take up to 25 days if the temp was too low.

I want to check so bad, but you can't open the incubator at all. Worse than watching paint dry.

Were there any temperature issues during incubation? Low temperatures slow development and delay hatch. Also, you're counting the day after you set the eggs, correct? For example, if I put eggs in my incubator this morning at 8:30 am, tomorrow at 8:30 am would be day one. If there's no signs of life by day 24 or so, I would either candle or do a float test.

Float testing~
