yeah, you win some you lose some. I usually get at least a 50% hatch out of shipped eggs but I have gotten a bad batch too. Probably hurled into a bin from across the room by some flunky postal worker.
Do you know if they were developing at all? I've candled mine twice and I'm pretty sure I see embryos in there. Sometimes, if the temperature was a little low in your incubator, they can take a couple days longer to hatch. I think I read about a chick pipping on day 24 or 25!
We don't have a bator. Set them under a broody hen. Actually 3 for a while. Maybe got to hot? Last batch I could feel them moving around day before hatch. this batch nothing. Next time will get them closer. Still have 11 from last batch to sell anyway. Daughter likes babies but don't have room for more.
