Day 22 and nothing......????

I have silkie eggs that are on day 22 and no sound coming from the egg. Are they going to die

. First hatch Ive ever done so any advice is appreciated. Thank you

Some do take longer to hatch. depending on the temperature set. Candle them and see what you see.

I candled them and they are moving.

Update. Day 23, moving in shell but still havent broke into air cell. what do i do? i dont want them to die but i do not want to open shell too soon.

candle and tap look for internal pips, are your air cells of good size? has your temp been SPOT ON?

The temps werent spot on in the beginning but the last 2 weeks it has been perfect temp and humidty. The air cell seems much larger this morning...does that mean something? it was a perfect circle , now it is like a more wavy line.

that dip is when the chick moves into position he will internally pip at that spot!

how long till they come out now that they moved into position? or is it hard to tell?
