I am on day 22 of incubation and all my eggs have hatched except for three bantams. Upon candling, one of them does not look normal, the air sac is about half the size of the egg and crooked and it looks to have a lot of blood in it. The other two seem to have good air sacs and I can see there is something in there but there is no movement. Would movement be obvious at this point or hard to distinguish? I had 32 eggs (mostly full size) in there and it was pandemonium while they were all hatching. I am wondering if these two got too jostled? Any ideas? Could someone maybe show me or point me in the direction of what a candled 22 day chick should look like?

Are the eggs yellow, or are they reddish orange?  Sometimes, when they are about to hatch, they fill up so much of the egg that they have little room to move.  Have they internally pipped yet?

True when they are far along its very hard to distinguish much. :)

I guess I would say they are more reddish orange. I do not know how to tell if there is an internal pip? What would I look for?
