this is my 2nd hatch. So far nothing but one pip. I did do one thing different. I set the temp to 99 to 99.5 instead of 100 to 100.5. the first hatch was 90% successful. This one is the same, but no chicks!

The fees store that sole me the eggs said the hens had stopped laying during a hard rain...I am wondering if eggs were fertile or old eggs?

Please advise..... Thanks

Oh I am using a hovabator 2360 with air and I took eggs out of turner on day 18. EXACTLY as the first time. Yikes What do I do?

From first pip I give 12 hours then I start to help but not everyone helps---If I don't see progress - The thing is chicks that need help have a reason they needed it -Another thing I don't do is take eggs out of the turner or shut it off. If you get a zero hatch you may want to try that next time --
the eggs could be older but hopefully you'll get one out of it -

How long has it been since the pip?

can you hear peeping?

has it moved any?

I had one that pipped and I FOUND it pipped at 1:30. I dont know WHEN it started, it was still in the turner, I found it as I was taking it out.

I started to get worried the next morning around 9. cause it was still in there. it was about 18 hours before it zipped and came out..

Your hatch might be a little late because your temp was lower. How is your humidity? I have noticed that my pip rate goes down as the humidity starts to fall.
