Day 22 Silkie not hatching

If u candle them from the flat-ish side of egg, can you not see any sign of orange (air cell) because if you can’t they are either quitters or they have decided to put their entire head in the air cell which mine have done before

Do they end up hatching if their entire head is in the air cell? Do they still chirp? Thanks!

Well my chicks’ head was almost half submerged into the air cell if that makes sense and she hatched, I don’t really know why her head was in there but she seems to be fine so i wouldn’t worry if it looks like a head is touching the roof of the egg, which can almost look like a darkish blob.
