Day 22 still no chicks??

Yes, that is very normal. After they pip they rest for a while to finish absorbing their yolk sack. It can be up to 24 hours before they finish hatching and sometimes longer. Good luck!

Ok, still no more movement in the last 12 hrs. No chirpin, no larger holes. Are they still resting?

Can you see the beak through the hole? If so shine a flashlight in there and see if you can see it moving.

From my experience, yes it is normal. Since we aren't supposed to open it I will lay my head on the incubator and scratch on the sides to wake them up. lol Just to make sure they are still alive!!

Day 26- 7 of 15 have hatched. The first one that pipped his shell on day 23 did not make it out. Not sure what happened. setting 48 more tonight with the incubator in the house for better humidity and temp control. Well see what happens.
