Day 22 - Turkey eggs

We have eight fertile turkey eggs in incubator. Today is day 22. Should I remove the turner on day 24? Also, do you lay the eggs right on the incubator mat or put something down like a paper towel so they are not on the incubator grate?

Just a little nervous since these are the first fertile eggs we have gotten from our hen. The hen is just a year old this coming week.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I would remove the turner at lockdown, and yes, put something under them like paper towels.
