Day 23, 1 hatch this morning and 1 new pip.

I don't know what happened but I have some late chicks! One pipped yesterday and hatched this morning. Another pip overnight. I've never had a late hatch before. What could be going on? Temps have been fine. I've kept water in the incubator but I don't know what the humidity has been, but that's never been a problem before. I'm using a little giant still air incubator. Any ideas?

I have eggs arriving today to go into the incubator and some tomorrow. Very poor planning on my part! The eggs I'm getting today were shipped Saturday so they really should be in the incubator tonight!

It sounds like maybe your thermometer is reading a bit high (reads at 100 when is is actually about 98 etc...) I would get a second thermometer, and possibly a third to more accurately read temps for future hatches.
