Day 23 and NO HATCH!! HWat happened?

Well it is day 23 and my egg didn't hatch.

I candled it today and I am not sure if it is alive......It looks almost the same as when I canded it the last time a week ago.

Here is a pic of it(I know it is blurry)...

Does this look normal? I didn't see it moving, but I didn't candle long, I was afraid I would hurt it.

It looks good to me. I don't give up until day 25. The fluctuations in temp can sometimes cause later hatches.

So hard to tell what went wrong....hopefully they may still hatch!

Don't give up just yet! I've been wrong before and surely regreted it. Hang in there.

It looks good from what I can see in the photo..... maybe just running late. If you hold it really still on the candler and look real close... you will usually see some movement (wiggling, kicking) if it is still alive.

It looks to me like a quitter. There is quite a bit of clear space in there from the looks of it, and it should be mostly dark. Hope I'm wrong, and it still hatches for you! Keep us posted.

I might be a couple days off on the hatch date. I had an egg uner the hen then 2 days later I put 2 more eggs in, but the marking rubbed off of the eggs. So today could be only day 21, but still no hatch, It might be a quitter
