Day 23 Eggtopsy

I have a few eggs that haven't pipped yet, so I got curious & candled one. I didn't think their was any way a chick could be in there...so I did an eggtopsy & this is what I found. What would cause this chick to quit growing?

sorry about your loss sometimes eggs are quitters- looks like day 11, or so.

I just opened my last 4 eggs today... and I believe they were about 9-11 days when they passed.... It was my first time, so I would also like to know what happened
