Good morning,
I purchased 9 Orpington eggs and put 6 in my incubator and 3 under a broody on June 10. I candled all three times discarding two that were not fertilized and one that stop developing. The other 6 all looked good by day 18 when I left under the broody. So far one hatched on day 21 and another on day 22. She’s still sitting on her nest with her two hatchlings. I’m wondering though how long is ok to leave the eggs under her? Is it possible that all four of the others are not viable even though they looked it? They were a mixed batch of Orpingtons - chocolate lavender buff and a couple the seller didn’t know what they were.
