We have 5 eggs left in incubator. One chick hated early day 21. It is day day 23. I don't know what to do. Should i crack a hole in it? We are about to do the float test and are new BYC and incubating chicken eggs. We need help!

At day 23, if there is no pip holes in any, and no movement when candled, I'd say they're goners. and if they did hatch, you will likely have problems with them. I don't know how to do a float test, but if you put that into the BYC search field, I'm sure tons of things will pop up on that subject.
I'm sorry only one hatched for you!

I agree. Usually eggs that are going to hatch do so within 48 hours of the first hatcher, however there are exceptions. Before you water candle I would do a normal candle to check for movement and internal pips. (I'm not a fan of water candling, and don't do it.) Also candling before water candling may reveal a pip/crack that you haven't seen and water candling a pipped egg can cause a chick to drown.

If there are no internal pips or noticeable movement then you can bet there is no life. When you do the water candle, the egg must float AND independently wiggle to be certain of viabiity. A quitter can and will still float if the air cell is adequate.

The temp and humidity were of a bit would that affect my hatch

should i poke a hole in the eggs and see if they haven live chicks alive the roster is big and the eggs are rather small
