Good morning,

Hello, I had purchased from McMurray hatchery 12 chicks six of which were blue Americana they are a little over 3 month old and 5 exact no question hens. Completely blue, black legs, and discernible hen tails and muffs. However, I have one that has copper and is double the size of the others. Can somebody please help me discern if this is a rooster because I need to rehome him due to HOA restrictions of not having a rooster if so. On the other hand if it’s a hen, I don’t wanna lose her. I’d also be curious to hear what kind of chicken you think you might be. The legs are bright, yellow (pictures don’t clearly define how bright a yellow) and covered in a copper color. Absolutely beautiful. The other question I have is what is our mystery Chicken? Please help because I want to find them a good new home if I’m right and this is rooster. And I need to do so before starts crowing.

x3! And WELCOME, this is a fun and educational forum, hope you love it.
'Americanas' are actually crossbred birds, can be any color, better called 'Easter Eggers'. They are not the purebred Ameraucanas, who come in specific colors, and are more often bred by people who want specific looks and size, not so much egg production.
I prefer Easter Eggers myself, because of usually more eggs per bird.
How about pictures of your other pullets?

That's what 'Americanas' are!
The folks raising Ameraucanas have made that crystal clear, and so do pictures of both types of birds.

ameraucanas are not easter eggers

The main difference is that an Ameraucana is a recognized, purebred chicken, while an Easter Egger is a hybrid. Ameraucanas have strict breed standards, including only laying blue eggs and having specific feather and comb types. Easter Eggers are a mix of breeds, leading to varied appearances and egg colors (often green, blue, pink, or cream).

Note the spelling. @Folly's place is correct. Americanas and Easter Eggers are the same exact thing. Mixed breeds with the intention of laying colored eggs. Hatcheries will often call them "Americanas" with an i.

What you're talking about is Ameraucanas. Those are the pure bred with breeding standards.

You should explain this to the hatcheries that don't sell EEs but clearly do.
