Day 25 AIR CELL VANISHED!!??? duck egg

Candled one of my duck eggs at day 25 for the last time and the air cell had gone? a few day earlier it was their normally.

Do you reckon the duckling has pushed through and 'popped' it. I Think I will make an acception and break the rule and candle again again today (day 27).

what should I go if it is alive? has this ever happened to you? If it's still alive should I make a hole so it can breath??? I really have no idea!

Hang in there the bugger may indeed be up in the aircell. Candling will drop humidity and make it harder if he's going to hatch naturally. Just because you can't see for all the bulk doesn't mean he doesn't have air, it's just trapped around him now.

Keep asking since I haven't done ducks so *bump* but I'd wait.
