This is my first time hatching chicks so I wanted to reach out to you all to see what you thought. The egg in the picture is on day 25 and no hatch. Based on the candeling I did today, I have come to the conclusion it died at some point as there is no movement but there is still part of me wanting to give it a chance. Can you all take a look at the pics and let me know what you think. On day 18 it was moving and looked just as it should and then nothing. Was a bit surprised it didn’t hatch as it was untouched and on lockdown from day 18 until now. Three other chicks hatched just fine so curious what may have gone wrong. Any insight would be appreciated.

I'm sorry, but I agree with TheOddOne. Good have been a few reasons, but not entirely sure why it would have died. Glad you're other chicks were able to safely hatch!
Just out of curiosity how can you tell it’s dead? Is it just because it’s day 25? Or can you tell by the pictures?

You said you didn't see any movement. At that point, is should be squirming in the light. I've also hatched a a good deal of eggs and eggs that just look like that aren't typically alive. You can still give it a another day or two to JUST be sure.
