I don't know much about ducks or hatching but, an egg that is oozing or bubbling sounds like a "stink egg," with a decaying embryo inside. Please very carefully put your hand inside a plastic bag and pick up the egg as gently as possible. Seal it closed. Then take it outside where it can't contaminate the incubator or any remaining eggs.
Stink eggs explode easily and spread bacteria everywhere. Is there a safe spot you could put the hatchlings and unhatched eggs while you sanitize the incubator?
I do advise that you post on the "Duck Forum," for the best information. Have you tried cheeping at the eggs to see if any reply? Have you candled the eggs at all?
I think generally 28 days is when the average ducklings hatch so there is still a chance the others are viable. Best of luck![]()
Leave it unless it smells like sulfur.Thank you drumstick diva. I have candled the eggs. I noticed the air bubles tonight. I have movement in all but that one egg. Should i throw it out?
It smells fine. Just no movement at all. And the air bubbles are the major concern for meLeave it unless it smells like sulfur.
