Please be gentle, I found a duck egg in the garden, I could not obtain an incubator and didn't want to just let it die outside so once I shone a torch through it, I could see it was viable. I created a makeshift incubator using an electric blanket, a couple of towels, a washing basket and a dish of water with a sponge in it. I occasionally misted the towel on top of the basket and the little embryo grew, it was doing really well until a couple of days ago. Despite it being on the same setting the entire time, the egg got really warm, I gently cooled it slowly but after that I noticed little to no movement. The veins faded but some remained. This is day 3 of the lack of/lesser movement, the egg is on day 27. On day 24 i gentle water candled and there was no movement. I thought I noticed breathing movements and a little heartbeat rhythm yesterday with my torch and today perhaps a slight jerky movement but the veins have faded more. I'd appreciate any input and lease, i know that in an ideal world there would be an incubator and multiple thermometers but I'm circumstances have not permitted me those things. I have relied on my wrist as a temp Guage. Eggs were turned 3x daily until 3 days ago. I cant smell anything bad

This is today's quick candling for reference
