Day 27 the duck egg started hatching then stopped!! Please Help

Hi my name is Delaney and it is currently day 27 and 2 of the 8 eggs have started to hatch and one was making a lot of progress and then got its beak out and stopped it’s been a few hours since then and it still isn’t moving or making any sounds I don’t know if it is dead or just sleeping should I help it out ?? Please Help

If it’s only been a few hours I would wait. They often take long breaks it takes a lot of energy to hatch.

I tried tapping on the egg and there is still no movement.

Pick a bit of the shell away for it. If it doesn't move after you have removed some it's probably died in the shell.
Remove the shell more towards the larger end (where the air bubble is) to avoid the blood vessels. Don't remove too much.

Then put it back in to warm back up and leave it... But if it doesn't peep or breathe when you handle it, it might be passed
