Hello!
First time hatching any sort of egg and I thought I did my research but really nothing can prepare you more than experience—which I don’t have.
It was recommended that I not open the incubator but I decided to (for less than 30 seconds) to quick candle an egg. I wasn’t sure if it had internally pipped... when I checked, the embryo was definitely moving around in there. But there was one thing I noticed: the image I attached shows a picture... there’s a dip in the air cell.
I looked it up and I heard people describe internal pipping as a “pinch” but I just want to make sure that’s what it is...? If not, then what is it?
